Last weekend Mum and I visited Blackstone Valley for a hike and a tour of the gorge there. It was really neat, and not at all what I expected. I have a bit of a grim view of Rhode Island. But this was beautiful and quirky.
The minute we hit the town, we came upon "The Gold Miner's Thrift Store", which, of course, sounded magical. AND IT WAS. Next door to that was Rosebud's hat shop. We met Rosebud who was as lovely and quirky as her shop.
I can't wait to go back and explore more!
