Outfit Of The Day

 Good morning! Here is a very short outfit post (short post, not so much short outfit :) because I have ever so much to do today!

 This is actually yesterday's outfit. Today's isn't much to look at. I look like I'm going trail running in the chilly autumn woods (which is, yes, entirely what I am doing).

But after that I have a fun tutorial to photograph and a ttv Christmas photo shoot for Christmas cards!

Cinnamon Toast

Yesterday was Hurricane Sandy and even though I was home (everything was closed in Massachusetts yesterday. mostly.) I gussied up like a psychedelic librarian anyway. And wore Cinnamon Toast perfume (which is amazing and smells exactly like it sounds!). It was a very good day, despite the weather. I made all sorts of new things for my shops and ended the day playing a rather violent game of Scrabble with my baby brother, Nolan, and my mum.

My outfit today! Experimented with some false eyelashes, that I like a whole bunch, but sort of creep me out as they are made of human hair... And they itch. But that's the price you have to pay, I s'pose. Also, the giant leaf? I made that. Well, I scanned it and had Staples print out a huge copy. Pretty neat, huh?

I am wearing so many clothes!! I love this outfit, it's very warm and comfy. And I completely (for the most part) ignore the fact that it makes me look an extra 20 lbs (which I probably am wearing this. All that material is a bit heavy.). The plaid mens shirt that I chopped up to make a strapless tunic was just a bit short to wear by itself with these tights, so I stuck the Merona dress underneath and Voila! Warm again. This might just become one of my favorite outfits of 2012!

I've been working on my shops and teaching my baby friends to read and write, I've had very little time to take pictures of what I'm doing. You've Got To Lie to Me, Baby.

Please excuse my horribly messy fabric shelves! I am working on somehow making them look nice while still being able to find things. One of these days I'm going to have to do a shelf- introduction. I love my Ikea shelves! I had a few friends over not long ago and one of them commented that this room is a "Gwenivere Museum". I try to make my spaces sort of look like a museum of oddities/natural history/rad things, so, that was quite a compliment!
